How many times have you been lied to on the Internet? A photoshop, a Nigerian prince who claims to be a family member you’ve never met Tiny trojan horses at the gate of your computer’s drive aren’t worth the trouble I got a link in my DMs from a bedridden man from St. Petersburg So old and frail, yet so adamant on sending me bitcoin. I don’t know why The world has given up on looking for aliens We grew sick and tired of waiting, let them come to us We have the technology, might as well mess around Congress passed a deadly bill on nuclear weaponry, it's on the news But no one reads the news anymore, they’re all on Twitter That is fine and dandy though, as they would rather argue all day on there And when they launch horrific missiles across the Pacific We’ll be attacked with a force a million times stronger The world has given up on looking for world peace and We grew sick and tired of waiting on wars to end We have the technology, might as well end the world Emergency, call 9-1-1, but they won’t pick up at all Your phone is dead now, battery’s gone And you wish you had a landline You may be entitled to some sort of compensation We grew sick and tired of waiting for the future We have the technology, but we’ll never get far We have the technology, it’s getting out of control We have the technology, I’m always getting scammed We have the technology, everyone’s hooked on AI We have the technology, and we'll never get far We have the technology, and we'll never get far

Flesh World 04:38
Courtney wears her finest threads That highlight every curve on her And she takes pictures that then She mails to the editor-in-chief “Courtney is young and attractive; One night with her will make your worries melt” And such things are what she writes And sends out for the classifieds Courtney dreams of bigger things in life She dreams of a man to hold all night Courtney, Courtney, don’t get lost now Between the pages of desire and pain Courtney wears nothing but panties And she waits by the phone, just waiting For a call to come in From someone to hold onto tonight She is standing on the balcony Looking out, just looking out As she smokes all her sadness away Looking out at the city lights When the phone rings She has to let go of her sadness and deepest desires Courtney, Courtney, don’t get lost now You know you want to meet a man to love Courtney, Courtney; she wants to travel Courtney, Courtney; she wants to dine And to share with a man expensive wine Courtney, Courtney; wants to love Courtney, Courtney; she wants more than just to And there goes another man Coming out of Courtney’s prison cell Apartment 7-B Where she’s sitting all alone And she wonders, “Will he call me again?” But it was another cheap fling Courtney, Courtney, don’t get lost now Between the bedsheets and the dreams you’re hopeful for Alone she wonders, “Will he call me again?” But it was another cheap fling Courtney, Courtney, don’t get lost now Between the bedsheets and the dreams you’re hopeful for Alone she wonders, “Will he call me again?” But it was another cheap fling Courtney, Courtney, don’t get lost now Between the bedsheets and the dreams you’re hopeful for Alone she wonders, “Will he call me again?” But it was another cheap fling Courtney, Courtney, don’t get lost now Between the bedsheets and the dreams you’re hopeful for

Hitchhiking down by Route 66 A droplet of water could save me now I am so lost Walking And talking And walking And talking And walking And talking And walking Talking to myself I hope that a man Comes to my rescue Tall, big And a little bit rough The man of my dreams is like A grizzly bear All rough play and then When it’s nighttime, I can rest on his fur Eating And resting And eating And resting And eating And resting And eating And starving Oh Lord I hope that a man Comes to my rescue Truckers come And truckers go Where the hell is my saviour? One trucker came by the next day With an open heart and mind Would have taken the hitchhiker in if he had seen him But he died too young From dehydration and a broken heart

Yet another beautiful day Yet another beautiful night She isn’t running away She isn’t losing her marbles She’s perfectly fine Would you care to leave now and The moment he turns the lock and The moment she’s all alone and The moment’s perfect for her to go The moment she packs her clothes and The moment she takes to think and The moment’s gone now and so is she Yet another beautiful day Yet another beautiful night She had abandoned all hope She had found religion in a false moment of joy All the preachers rejoiced and The moment she dons the robe and The moment she says the words and The moment her mind is really gone The moment she hopes in prayer The moment she sees an angel Fostering an illusion of God Her old man looks for her With his heart in his hand Her children never grew up Knowing the love of a mom An old flame burst into a fire Across the Atlantic And maybe she met him again And again And again And again and She could be a beauty queen She could be a star, the world And everything in between Like a star, she was gone With the first lights of day Yet another beautiful day It’s such a beautiful day It’s such a beautiful night She is a star, she’s the world She’s everything in between It’s such a beautiful life It’s just so scary to live It’s just as scary to die Fostering an illusion of God

I wanna write Just a proof of concept I wanna draw Get my special pencil I feel like I can’t Make anything Anything I wanna be Like a little starling I wanna fly Like a great big eagle I feel like I must Make anything Why don’t you give me your best shot? And why don’t you paint like a Leonardo, dog? Why aren’t you on a record label? Need to be a scientist to join the work force Do you wanna, do you wanna, do you wanna be A Leonardo, Leonardo, Leo Da Vinci Then go ahead and paint Go ahead and write Go ahead and go ahead and make anything Anything This isn’t serious This is not my art This isn’t what I am This is not myself This isn’t worthy of A museum stand This isn’t art at all This is not my love I caught myself Sleeping on the job I caught myself On no inspiration I caught myself Praying to Monet Guess I’ll just try again Try again Try again Try again Try again Try again Try again Try again Try again

Rat Friend 03:33
I just got off the phone with a friend Rat friend, hey, rat friend, hey, rat friend I think we are friends, but I don’t know He seems way too cool He goes to school and he studies arts Rat friend, hey, rat friend, hey, rat friend I think he likes me, I think I might like him too, and uh I’ve been so lonely, so lazy, going crazy Hey, rat friend, hey rat friend I think I might cry, can I call you tonight? He paints rats in situations, what a concept I think he’s great, but I also think he is too hard on himself Rat friend, you saved me With the stories of your rat life Rat friend, I’ll save you If I ever have to, I will Oceans aren’t vast enough to keep me from your side I will learn how to swim It’s been one year, two years, three years And I think you’re better than ever You’re always changing But I’m always here for you, rat friend I’m glad I found you and you found me too I could write you a million tunes but they Wouldn’t be enough to show my gratitude for you, rat friend I think I will end this song very soon Oh, hey, rat friend, hey, rat friend I love you, I hope that you know that I love you Thank you letting me visit your fort And for opening your heart up I will let you visit my heart anytime you want

Clouds 03:56 video
If you wanted to see Clouds across the sky You might wanna check out What’s written on the history books When I was a little child We’d go to the park And we’d play hide and seek Looking up at clouds And now the clouds come from big factories And now the clouds are sold online If you wanted to count Pretty, little sheep You won’t find them outside Keep them in your dreams There’s a big flaming rock Headed for the Earth And like with dinosaurs We’ll surely go extinct And now the clouds come from big factories And now the clouds will make you sick They have warned us about Smog and oil spills They don’t do anything about Smog and oil spills So if you wanted to see Clouds across the sky You won’t find them outside Keep them in your dreams And now the clouds come from big factories And now the clouds will hurt to breathe And now the clouds come from big factories And now the clouds obscure the sun And now the clouds come from big factories And now the clouds will hurt to breathe And now the clouds come from big factories And now the clouds obscure the sun

about

"Anxiety, Eat World" packs a punch with its bold instrumentation, witty lyrics and broadening of Furry Loser's musical glossary.

It's easy to read the anxious feel of the album as soon as the first track ("We Have the Technology") asks you if you've suffered due to common Internet scams and doom-scrolling.

This anxious feeling carries throughout the songs' narratives, depicting a series of stories with colorful protagonists, such as the sex worker on "Flesh World" or the religious fanatic woman in "Siniestro". And even when things seem most dire, the album never loses a certain, tactful, upbeat quality Furry Loser is best known for.

This album comes to an end with a new personal favorite of Furry Loser's: "Clouds". The song describes the bleak reality our beloved planet is facing in its call for attention to air pollution.
